I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

I don't often rate other products, but...

Five stars to Sanita clogs.

Mephistos helped with my bunions, but they're almost unnoticeable now thanks to Sanita clogs.   They're less expensive than Mephistos, and they work wonders considering when I was in college, I had a friend who told me it looked like I was growing a sixth toe.   (Oh, and also she had a crush on a Bollywood star who had six toes on at least one foot, so it was totally cool and awesome that I had that bunion.)  Years later, they were causing me such pain - especially on the left foot - that I saw a doctor who told me I might need foot surgery if my feet hurt more than two times a week.   (They no longer hurt at all, so thank you Sanita!)

I have no doubt that some shoes will work better for others, and that Sanitas might not be the best choice for everyone.   However, they were for me due to the support they give and the proof is that I"ll probably not need surgery.   They were way, way less expensive than surgery.

One of the things I did for my mom in the hospital was splurge on two new pairs at $70 each at DSW, both new Sanitas.  (She was worried because my shoes were three years old and kinda grimy at this point.)  I was worried because they had changed: the soles weren't quite as tough and I needed another size because the new ones had changed, or used different materials, or something.   But about a week in, and these are, if anything, more comfortable.

So, thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone involved with making these clogs!   They are wonderful and they saved my feet.
