I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Different vibe, but just as good. Funny, touching, and about a robot with a mid-life crises on his hands. D4VE used to be a defense bot, but now he's just a number cruncher. After all, the robots had an uprising against man, won, then had a parade. They then kicked the snot out of everyone else who came to Earth and tried to take it over.
There's nothing to do but settle down, find a companion and order a kid...
Except D4VE remembers the old days, when he wasn't just sitting around in the office. And he kinda wants to run that programming, just once more.
Loved, loved, loved it.
Add D4VE to my long list of literary crushes. H4WT.
