Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Ending didn't work for me

When We Join Jesus In Hell - Lee Thompson

This was great and creepy and atmospheric and dark.   I wasn't sure how much was real and how much Fist was imagining, and I was happy to go along of the ride.

The ending, however, felt anticlimactic to me.   Or, I don't know, unfinished?   I'm not sure how to explain it, I just felt it as lacking something to me.

The free short story worked beginning to end for me, though, so I don't know.   I do know a lot of people love this one like crazy so not only am I the exception who didn't, but I suggest you take my review with a grain of salt and look at the other reviews, or sample, before deciding.

It was well written and would have been a four to four-and-a-half star read if not for the ending.
