Went downstairs to recommend Eleanor and Park to my sister
I was like, 'Have you read - oh...' And I realized that she was currently reading this book. On the other hand, and this is awesome, we had a really interesting and productive conversation about internalized racism. After she checked out where I was so she could gloat about having read more than me.
Still, this is awesome.
PS - she says she was only gloating because people read ahead and spoil her, and I can't do that.
