I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
I wasn't crazy about some of the extras. I skimmed through the author's notes and didn't finish Dracula's guest, because I didn't like how it was set up in the PDF: two columns, and you had to scroll up and down. I also wasn't super interested in the story.
This was a good adaptation. It didn't add anything, so there's nothing new, but the narrative stands up to the abridgment necessary for a graphic novel adaptation. It takes everything necessary and boils it down to those elements, and adds gorgeous, painted style illustrations that tap into the horror and hope in this novel.
Fantastic!
