I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
So, wow, I am really upset that I didn't manage to grab the following volume - which Newbury didn't have - when i got my whole stash. I was reading this, my jaw dropping, unable to put this down.
Wow, wow, wow! I never would have guessed any of this had been Tony's origin.
And to top off the brilliant storytelling and art, there were robots involved. Oh, yes, yes!
Mmm. 451 is kinda hot.
Why, yes, I'd totally have a drink with him. *Ignores all the terrible shit he does, too*
No, seriously, 451 is a great villain: well spoken, rational, he justifies his means with the end game. He actually reminds me of Unit, another Gililen villain. Unit and 451 are both machines who are articulate, who both manage to trick heroes into helping them because they are such smooth operators, and who may or may not have truly evil agendas. They both play long games, too.
Gillen may end up being a favorite writer just for writing smooth, but evil, robots. Sexytimes!
