However, this was an amazing run.  I do like Waid and Simonson a lot, so I knew the story and art would be amazing.   It is.  

Maria Hill is pretty ruthless: she got Banner to work for S.H.I.E.L.D - well, Hulk, really - by giving him a lab.   Protection.   However, since the Hulk can be uncontrollable, Banner was worried for his safety.   So he gave Murdock/Daredevil a deposition that will ruin everything for Hill and S.H.I.E.L.D.   If Murdock doesn't hear that Banner is okay every week, he releases the deposition. 

Its not only a nice little set up but it also gives Waid a good reason to do a Daredevil guest spot.  

To be honest, I wasn't much into the first story which was all about Hulk and Thor.   The story with Daredevil more than made up for this.   And even while I wasn't into the story, it wasn't bad.  There were some really interesting ideas about how to use Mjolinir, for example.
