Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm trying to remember the title for this novel I wanted to take out of the library.   Fuck.   I can't remember it at all, even enough to describe it.   So frustrated with myself!  I thought it was by Peter Straub, but it's not.   It's an author whose last name starts with an S, though.   Staub, or something similar to Straub. 

I swear Know is in the title, and I know it's about a radio show host who gets accused of kidnapping/murder by a caller whom he mocks.   (To be fair, the caller is persistent, and sounds like a nut.)   The host is horrified that he would be accused.
