I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
One half star for the sexiness, one half star for the fact that it isn't, y'know, complete word salad. I don't know why I got this. I got kinda crazy during the Newbury Comics Black Friday sales. This was part of a three for twenty dollars graphic novel set.
It wasn't worth it. Well, not really. I kinda got all excited at the pretty, pretty pictures, then hated myself a little for it, because, damn, this is one of the worst continuities in the Transformers universe. The humans are more annoying. At least I can hate Hot Rod in the other universes, because he could be useful but he's just blinded by his own ambition and good intentions and sense of self. In this continuity, he's so naive that I hate him - but kinda feel bad about it because he doesn't know any better. The whole concept of the minicons as different race never made sense to me. Different how? It was never really explained, especially as there were smaller Cybertronians in other continuities who aren't considered a different 'race' - even if they were much smaller. And in that case would Omega Supreme be considered a different race since he's so massive? Metroplex? Combiners? Again, the implications of the racial divide are never explained.
Because why turn this into a social statement, or question how one race of Cybertronians would differ from another when that would add some dignity and seriousness to the most inane Transformers continuity ever.
Congrats, Bayverse. I remember that I hate this more than you.
