Sticking to my guns
1/2 starring everything about Secret Empire. Because Cap was a symbol and he can change, but turning him into a fascist when he's the symbol of anti-fasicm isn't just changing him, or tweaking him, it goes beyond a simple 'change.' It betrays the trust of the readers and it betrays the character himself, it betrays what he stands for, and thus makes him no longer a symbol of what he once was.
Worse that this is the Marvel universe that was meant to be.
