Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

What a dark story about Gamora!

Guardians of the Galaxy (2015-) #17 - Brian Bendis, Valerio Schiti, Arthur Adams

What does Gamora do when she's grounded but go after Thanos?   Captain Marvel tries to give her a way out, off planet, to find Thanos who's escaped.   And if only Gamora had believed that bit of truth, she'd be fine.   Instead, she escapes her captors, lands on Earth, and tracks down where Thanos had been held.

I didn't see a lot of this coming, but in retrospect it all made sense.  This was Gamora, and this is about Thanos, so her obsession and her mistrust should be obvious.

One of my favorite stories about the grounded Guardians.
