I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Wanda has been learning more about her past, and has seen her mother's spirit. Her biological mother was the Scarlet Witch before her, and I figured it would culminate in her looking into her past more.
And it has now.
She has to track down the trail to her Roma clan, then discover that a person she thought was dead was, in fact, alive. It's an astounding reveal and one that shocks her to her core.
I love how this is becoming more of a story arc, too. The single issue stories were nice, but so is this: it makes me feel like it's leading up to more of a personally emotional story for Wanda, and I'm glad of that. I'm glad that she's discovered so much about herself.
I'm looking forward to the next issue and I've subscribed to this as well since I buy every issue.
