I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
With the jokes and the surprise villain at the end . You can't get too much more old school than him!
Pretty much, I expected to hate this series, because of how much it features Cyclops and his angsty little 'am I doomed to be crazy older me who dies for his crazy?' Instead, I'm loving it. Yeah, it features that, but it's got lot more going for it, too. The art is spectacular, the writing is sharp, and it deals with broader social issues like how people deal with mutants in a post-Cyclops world
Between the tension between the mutants and police and the racism that seems prescient, this also feels very timely. Onto Captain Marvel, however, as I wait for the next issue to appear on MU.
