Also, Dick Grayson decides that now, while Babs is tying the tie on her new boyfriend, is the perfect time to tell Babs that he isn't dead.   He's a real smooth one, that Dick Grayson...

He also steals the ring Babs is keeping safe, so that she's basically forced to chase him around.   And while it brings up past memories, and she's clearly blowing off steam and having fun just engaging him in that chase, things have changed.   He lied to her, and now she's interested in Luke, who's absolutely amazing about an ex crashing and taking her away.   Things happen, she was his teammate to, and pasts don't just disappear.   They don't even agree to show up when it's convenient and stay away when it's not, he tells her. 

He's more understanding than most people will be, and it reaffirms what Babs tells Dick: Luke is a great guy, and he is going to take care of her.  

By the way, Grayson moves like sex, and while this normally doesn't do anything for me, I had a sigh, why is he meat moment here.   It's pretty hot, and it's not about his body.   It's the control he has over his body.   Then again, I can be a bit of a control freak and so that's probably just what's happening here.   Still, before I pieced this together - and this bullshit used to take a long time and tie me up in knots - there was a WTF moment here.   I've also come to accept that I tried to trick myself long enough, and that I may still want to trick myself, that in extreme circumstances this will happen.   I was simultaneously grossed out and a little bit like 'fans self.'   (Oh, Batgirl, very few series could mess with me this way and still have me love them!)

I wasn't sure how the wedding issue would be played, and there was enough character development and action to keep me interested.   It felt playful and natural and I loved this.   And it made me more comfortable with who I am and where I am right now, which is a bonus.
