I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Seasons eight of Buffy and the seasons of Angel and Faith impressed me much more. The art was hit and miss here, and I felt like Spike's characterization was, too. I liked the story a little more than last volume, but it still took me a while to get through this: I was distracted by shiny new comics that read better to me. (Luckily I haven't been drawn to any Humble Bundles lately, so I'm making my way through some tie-ins without having pressure to finish because they're all piling up, though.)
I really thought Willow was spot on, though, even though the space-bugs were kinda weird.
But the covers, guys!
That cover makes me want to ship this for the pretty, pretty babies they'd have, even though Willow has come out as a lesbian by now, and is in a relationship and Spike clearly has no thing for her, and there are a million other things wrong with Spike/Willow.
I think I have some new crack-headcanon.
