I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
I needed something solid, something I just knew I'd love. I'm also trying to hit 100 books - or issues - read this month and between this and the new Angela that I just finished and have yet to review, I'm getting closer.
I think I can, I think I can.
Anyway, this continues to get more bizarre and twisted, but some of the bizarre we've seen before. Not exactly, but something close, and I missed that old element. I'm glad to see it come back.
On the other hand, we have new political elements in a made up country of Sin-Cong that rivals other real countries in its fascism. How would such a country react to genetic modifications and changes like the Inhumans go through? Well, that's what this series is all about exploring.
It's uncomfortable, but makes for some great tension, including the standard comic cliffhangers. At least I only have one more month to get to the conclusion, right? And I can't wait to see what's going to happen given where Crystal and Flint - and the others - were left. And yeah, there's that whole Swain storyline that's got me wondering what will happen to her...
