I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Cable and Deadpool together again? I'm not even made I forgot to use my Marvel Unlimited discount, because this was that amazing. (And it was only thirty cents.) Deadpool and Cable spend most of this issue separate, and it focuses on Deadpool, who I love the most out of the two, so that helped kill the time until Cable showed up to be honest.
Deadpool was spot on, too. Hilarious, contemporary, with Preston. I'm nots sure if this is pre-or post-Battleworld, although it seems post is pretty much 616 plus some Ultimate universe elements thrown in for good measure. That is, 616 history seems to be intact, so Preston and Ellie may have survived. (Please let them have survived!) That being said, this is bringing up some issues, especially since Deadpool number one hasn't come out and I think that'll clear things up.
Also, Shiklah.. Shiklah, Deadpool's wife, is perfection in this. I like how she's not above using her demon form when he all demands she's in lingerie. Sometimes he needs these reminders.
And there's a plot involving Hydra and a time travel device. Let's see where this goes, then.
