Like it's adorable how he tries to win over Shiklah, even before he admits to falling for her, but what did you do to the art?

Or the way that he calls out for Ellie in his sleep as this takes place directly after the North Korea storyline, and he thinks she's dead.   But he also says he'll fart on their food if she doesn't let him out of the fridge...

Or the way he gets into a monster fight in the middle of New York - and why would you start that in the middle of NYC? - but he also would probably let Dracula cut off his other hand, but it's on as soon as the vampire big bad threatens Shiklah.  

It's funny, it's the backstory to the line that he's already married before his big wedding - the one he's throwing for friends and family, and it's well worth the read.   There's only one minor complaint: vampire mind-whammys won't work on him, but at the end of the supplemental story, when he's having nightmares and calling out about Ellie and Butler being back, Shiklah does her love-whammy on him, and it's implied that it does work because he calms down.   Constancy, who needs it?
