Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

As ineffective as the reboot

Robocop: The Human Element - Joe Harris

It tried to be 'feels!' but it was based off a crap movie.

One star for existing, one star for the sexytimes illustrations.

No stars for the writing.   It was as limp as the movie it was based on, but then again, what could it really do with that source material?   The point of the movie wasn't the biting satire of the original, nor did it have the edge of the slick hyper-violence that propelled it forward towards the ending.

It was a tiger with teeth pulled, and the comic felt the same: a weak imitation of a far superior product.   A shame.   BOOM! Studios can do wonderful things when given the chance.   Their Robocop ongoing that was based off the original, and very true to the first movie, is absolutely wonderful.
