I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
What I'm looking for is a good sense of language, a flow, and competent editing. I'm in a couple moods right now, although Angels of the Deep has me in a dark fantasy mood. I'm also reading The Mona Lisa Sacrifice which is another example of - well, tradpubbed/indie - dark fantasy that I'm enjoying right now.
Angels of the Deep is a severely messed up story about nephilim, and I'd enjoy something in the similar vein if anyone knows of it. I do enjoy horror, anything good with robots/mecha/AI in it, as well as young adult/teen books, general science fiction, general fiction, and graphic novels - so anything with superheroes in it will be welcome.
Any suggestions? I'm a bit picky about my books, and I can't explain the flow thing other than sometimes words and sentences just have this flow, this easy to read because they're so good glow.
Oh, also, just got into Night Vale so odd speculative fiction is also good! Or magical realism.
Thanks for any recommendations! I'll at the very least sample everything I get.
PS - I'll also take requests for free monster erotica on a limited basis. They have to be free, as I refuse to pay for them, and I don't do too many because those reviews are a bear to write.
