I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Collecting Superior Carnage 1-5.
This was a mini-series; it was only five issues, and only meant to be five issues. It was a nice, short run, and I had a lot of fun reading this. A lobotomized Carnage is brought into an asylum to be held for, well, everyone’s safety. After all, Carnage is a crazed, murderous symbiote, and his host is no better, with or without Carnage. The problem comes when a dying Wizard, whose mind has been tampered with by Black Bolt, wants to prove to his son that he’s more than the failure the world sees him as. He does this by getting the Frightening Four together again, and his second recruit is Carnage. Seeing as the Wizard controls minds, and he doesn’t realize that Carnage no longer has a mind to control, well, things spiral out of control from there.
Klaw, and the crippled doctor the Wizard recruits as his fourth member try to take over New York City and then the world. Of course, the Superior Spider-Man steps up to try and stop Carnage. And I absolutely love Otto, the Superior Spider-Man, so this was a bonus! This series can get pretty horrifying, but if you’re into that, then I highly suggest this. The art is spiffy, too, so there’s that.
