I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Review for One to Three

Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files: War Cry #3 - Jim Butcher, Mark Powers, Carlos Gomez

This is pretty solid graphic novel.   It ramps up the action quickly, it's got a solid storyline and characters, and the art is excellent, although rather typical for comics.   That being said, it references things that happen in the novels, and I felt a bit lost as to when this happened, and ended up deciding I was missing things.

However, this was in the newest Humble Bundle, and also the next on my list of what to read alphabetically.

It was a fun ride, but I'm fairly sure that someone more invested in the Dresden Files will be more into this.   And it did lack the whole 'I won't tell the girls shit to protect them' aspect, so it gives me hope for the books I own but haven't read as this was co-written by Jim Butcher.
