Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Pretty good - for Bayverse

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel: Alliance - Chris Mowry, Alex Milne

When you have multiple continuities, it's hard not to compare and contrast them.   This is one of the better Bayverse tie-ins - but it's not nearly as good as the best of Prime, or Animated, or IDW-verse.

Whereas Defiance was all about how the Deceptions came to be, this is about the origins of NEST, the military group made up of both Autobots and human allies.   Unsurprisingly, I'm totally into a human/bot alliance, and this definitely made this a more fun read for me.

Then again, I feel like the characters are more fleshed out than in the movies, so it wasn't the only reason I liked this.  As with the other tie-ins, though, the art wasn't fantastic.
